With Lake Keowee’s 18,500 acres of water and 300 miles of shoreline, boating is a big part of life at Keowee Key. Almost all Keowee Key lakefront homes have their own private docks, and there are five community dock locations with 330 boat slips, all with electricity. North and South Marina docks have gas pumps allowing residents on-the-water fuel service. Members enjoy boating, fishing, and water sports on the pristine blue-water lake.
In addition, the community offers storage lot spaces for trailers and boats, a seasonal boat maintenance program, boat launching, power-washing station, and rental programs for pontoons, Tritoons, kayaks, and paddleboards. Keowee Key's Skipper Store, with basic marine supplies, maps and snacks, rounds out the offering.
